x – 3 = 1 ⇒ x = 4
3x – z = 0
3(4) – z = 0
-z = -12 ⇒ z = 12
x + y + 7 = 1
x + y = -6
4 + y = -6
y = -10
x = 4, y = -10, z = 12
(ii) \(\left[\begin{array}{ccc}{x} & {y-z} & {z+3}\end{array}\right]+\left[\begin{array}{lll}{y} & {4} & {3}\end{array}\right]=\left[\begin{array}{lll}{4} & {8} & {16}\end{array}\right]\)
x + y = 4 ……………. (1)
y – z + 4 = 8 ………….. (2)
z + 3 + 3 = 16 ………….. (3)
From (3), we get z = 10
From (2), we get y – 10 + 4 = 8
From (2), we get y = 14
From (1) we get x + 14 = 4
x = -10
x = -10, y = 14, z = 10
